A REGULAR GUEST:

Sitting outside on a perfect autumn day; it was so lovely here this Thanksgiving week-end. I am so grateful for the beauty and serenity of Amiscape Woods!  Claire, October 1999

A COUPLE:

What a blessing to have spent the last few days here! Your beautiful log cabin was so comfortable to stay in! And yet, as beautiful as it is, the tranquil out-of-doors is even more lovely!  From the beautiful loons and majestic herons--to the busy chipmunks, the graceful deer and the stately trees and lush vegetation. Truly, this has been a refreshing experience.

A FAMILY

We felt the tension melt away the moment we got out of the van. This has been exactly the vacation we were after--quiet and private. Your retreat is beautiful, clean and bright. We found everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the canoe, took trips around the lake every day, and saw pelicans, beaver, ducks and all sorts of water birds, deer and lots of fish.

We enjoyed every moment of this wonderful private 'escape'. Exactly the relaxation spot we needed. Maeva, Ken, Jade & Mackenzie, July, 2001

A COUPLE:

There is something particularly serene about sitting and watching a fire crackle, the sun blaze and dance on the water. This has been a blast . . . But in a calm, soft, gently glowing kind of way. Time becomes liquid as waves. What day is it? Who cares? One fades into the next here and that is how this thing called life should really be.  Mark. It is obvious to anyone who's ever stayed here that this place was built with pride and love. What a warm place to spend a few days. We sauna-ed, we rested, we read, we rested, we swam, we rested … well, you get the point. We would love to see this place in all seasons.

FRIENDS:

Serenity and peacefulness are two words that come to mind when we reflect on Amiscape Woods. Hard to imagine while sitting here the destruction that has occurred in New York. Somehow staying here indefinitely crossed our minds. Far too many magical moments to mention, however, one highlight was sitting in the canoe in the middle of the lake and watching 300 Canada Geese (what a sight!) fly directly above us… and somehow we stayed 'dropping free'!  We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

A COUPLE:

What a welcome retreat from the city! This is a beautiful, secluded spot, and we could not have asked for a more perfect setting for a weekend getaway. Enjoyed quiet time beside the fire, a relaxing sauna and walks in the woods. The silence was truly welcome and relaxing. Thanks for a great trip!
