A FAMILY:
Don & Myriam - Thank you so much for letting us rent your cabin at Amisk. We had a wonderful time. We found the place very well supplied and did not have to go into town once. Aside from the grounds and cabin being so beautiful, we really appreciate the extras like a canoe to borrow, games to play, and books to read and info. about the area. We took the canoe out every day and made it from one end of the lake to the other, and when we got back we would pull out your nature books and identify the birds and animals we saw on the trip. We can see a lot of care and thought was put into planning for renters and we appreciate it very much. We are home now and I have to re-civilize my kids, but it was a time they will not forget. Don & Myriam: We cannot express to you what a beautiful weekend we had. Thank you, thank you for sharing your 'space' with us. Your cottage is beautiful! We spent many hours, wrapped in a blanket, sitting on the steps of the deck and staring at the stars and talking. The weather turned quite cold Sunday but the sauna was a perfect ending to our vacation. We can't wait to get back there for another weekend. Barb & Friend, October, 2000

We had a marvelous weekend enjoying ice fishing, tobogganing, the sauna, relaxing in the cabin & the tranquility of Amiscape Woods. Wow! Beautiful, an escape, the only time I've felt relaxed for as long as I can remember, the quietness of the surroundings, the stars at night, the coziness of the cabin, the fresh air, the sauna . . .
You have no idea how wonderful these days were for us. No pressures, no deadlines, no nothing. We didn't even bring a radio and I thought the silence would drive me crazy. On the contrary - I embraced it.
I love the assortment of books you have there! Daryl couldn't figure out which one to start reading first! It was amazing and I thank you so much for allowing us to share the experience.
The sauna was fabulous. I knew about it but it had been years since I've experienced the "sauna" experience! Awesome...can't wait to do it again!
We found the place very clean, and supplies were plentiful - we didn't need to bring some of the things we had...
Hopefully we'll be able to enjoy it over the summer! Thank you so much.
